FREEDOM!

So, for everyone who has not yet heard, I was fired this morning. Under normal circumstances, that would suck. But I've been waiting for this particular shoe to drop for almost 5 months now. A slight recap:

way back in September there was a change of power at my place of employment and 6 people (including the company president) were fired. Almost everyone I considered a close friend at that place was among those 86ed. Not to mention that I had also shown a lot of support for the company president the week before all of this happened. Everyone was kind of surprised that I managed to stay on there. so really, this comes as no surprise.

I honestly have not felt this good in the five months since. So, I'm going to enjoy the rest of my...well, life.
