Blargh

So, the weekend has been both uneventful and action packed, if such a combination can truely exist.

Check this out. Pretty well done.

I still await movie lists, you lazy bastards.

The Greater...Something

I finally decided, and the Zerg have rued the day and rued it hard.

Here. Look for INT, it's very true.

The Shadow Land

I find myself between games right now (not counting the continuing efforts to save Disney's various intellectual properties from vauge enemies and the complete stupidity of the heroes). It appears that my brave paladin and Amanda's crafty assassin won't be storming the Worldstone Keep anytime soon, so my PC experience is lacking. I have several options:

Arcanum: I never actually managed to get all the way through this one for some reason. I know I'd be starting over if I went back, so is it worth it?

NWN: I've defeated both the expansions and a fair number of the "premium" modules that come with Diamond. While a fun experience, I'm not sure if I want to go there again.

HL2 and/or CS:S: I'm at the FPS'd out stage, although the zombie mod for CS:S is something different.

Icewind Dale II: Pretty much the same deal as Arcanum. And how much Dungeons and Dragons can I realistically stand?

Myriad other choices: If I can't remember them now, do I really care?

Also, the D&D Player's Kit is a pretty sweet deal. Especially if there's a sale at Hastings and you get it for $20. Dice, a PHB, minis and a "solo adventure." Not bad.

A Broken Vow

While we're waiting on everyone to send in their movie lists, I'll do some miscellaneous posting.

I have torn up my contract to myself. And it's all Mique's fault. Order of the Stick is pretty good. This makes five webcomics I'm keeping up with now. I wonder if I'll ever resurect my two or three different ideas for webcomics. The prospect is highly doubtful. We'll start the bidding at 10-1 against. Realize that you can only win once I die, as I may at some point do something. So just send me your money.

Now.

Movie night's my favorite night!

Back again, doing this thing that I do. I've noticed a decided lack of comments, I'm curious, and I'm bored. So let's do an experiment and create something at the same time.

I want to make a Must See Movie List. Anywhere from 25-100 movies that anyone should see at some point in their life. We might even rank them. I'll start with a few today. I want you guys to send me your lists. Don't worry about doubling up on movies that I list here. Once I get enough submissions, I'll list them all and we'll vote somehow (depending on the number of submissions). I'll even do reviews on some of them that particularly stand out to me. Let's roll.

The Empire Strikes Back
The Wizard of Oz
Planet of the Apes
The Princess Bride
Gattaca
DragonHeart
Spirited Away
An American Tail
The Incredibles
Akira
The Nightmare Before Christmas
Fantasia
Ghost in the Shell
Braveheart
The Silence of the Lambs
Memento
Psycho
Blazing Saddles
The Shawshank Redemption

Consider this a start. I'll look over all of the submissions and compare, and next time we'll do more lists and some reviews.
